今天（23）上午8點04分的地震過後，花蓮市最大公有零售市場"重慶市場"，再度因為地震導致多處牆面倒塌、地下水管破裂，目前花蓮市公所已啟動應變機制修復，至於今天凌晨倒塌的富凱大飯店，花蓮縣建設處將進行24小時拆除，最快明天下半天開始，預估要花2周時間完成拆除作業，目前花蓮縣府也重新受理民眾通報，持續統計受損建物。
